Chris is a Red Sox pitcher but due to this incident he has to be ruled out from the remaining season

Sale had undergone with a wrist surgery post this bicycle accident

Even his team ruled out a statement and said, Sale “underwent an open reduction and internal fixation of a right distal radius (wrist) fracture.”

The injury happened to him on August 6 and Chris's wrist surgery was successful

This surgery will keep him out of the ground for the remaining year

As per the Red Sox team their pitcher Chris will come back and join the start of spring training in 2023

It was July 17 against the Yankees when Chris pitched for the last time because his left hand was hit by a line drive

This injury in the first inning result in surgery in his pinky finger for treating the fracture on the very next day
